Students in Housed Working and Healthy’s culinary program undergo 4 months of expert teaching and apprenticeship in the company’s kitchen. During their apprenticeship, they’re planning, preparing, cooking, and managing menu items on a daily basis. We operate our program out of the Ft. Logan Eatery, where ready meals are available to the general public.
ServSafe Certification
All of our graduates have completed the Culinary Quickstart Program, which is a 4-week curriculum that covers fundamental food safety, personal hygiene, cross-contamination, allergies, time & temperature, cleaning and sanitation. At the program’s end, they receive a ServSafe Certification.
