HWH provies meals to help feed refugees at the Auraria Campus
Chef Billy, Chef Lienchai and the HWH student crew put together about 200 meals and helped feed refugees who had just arrived in Denver and were hungry. Way to Go!
HWH prepared and provided 12 hotel pans of food on only 3 hours notice to help feed the hungry refugees, who had just arrived by bus from TX, with no knowledge of where they were being sent, and had not eaten since the previous day.
These people, who as part of the latest influx into Denver, are being fed and helped in other ways at the Auraria Campus in Denver.According to city, Denver more than 200 people arrived last Thursday. In April Denver had seen about 20-30 new migrant arrivals each day through April but a larger influx is coming now. HWH joined the group of volunteers to help them out.
Doing good deeds throughout the community, and without any notice at all! Way to go!!
