We are a non-profit culinary training and intern program helping people facing barriers return to being self-sufficient. We are newly listed on ETPL, qualify for WIOA, and would like to introduce ourselves to your career coaches and specialists. We would be happy to host a workshop or info session at your office about our program.  We encourage you to refer candidates for our training and job placement program.

We work with local agencies that refer clients to our program. Our curriculum is delivered in our commercial kitchen on the Ft Logan campus in SW Denver in partnership with Emily Griffith Technical College (participants receive course credit) over a 6 week period. This includes completion of the ServSafe certification and covers all aspects of beginning culinary training and safe food handling.

After completing the curriculum, Students continue onsite for an additional 6 – 14 weeks to further prepare for long term employment. During the internship students apply the culinary skills they have learned to produce orders for customers, giving them practical experience in our commercial kitchen. All jobs include benefits, opportunities for advancement and are career oriented, with starting pay of $16-$18/hour.

We are currently recruiting candidates for our next cohort. Attached is a flyer and brochure.  I would appreciate it if you share this with other Career Coaches and Career Specialists. We would be happy to come and explain the program in person, and we also do open houses twice a month (first Thur and 3rd Wed) if any of the Career Specialists would like to visit our facility.
