Radio talk show host Nick Ferguson spent time at Housed Working & Healthy this past week to learn more about this innovative organization. Nick gives you a Behind the Scenes look at the kitchen and culinary students at HWH.
Nick had the opportunity to engage with students like Rico who joked he burned pasta before joining the program. The HWH program helps some of Denver’s unhoused learn culinary skills so that they can get a job and ultimately, housing. HWH helps students to build a foundation and find a purpose as they reenter society. What an uplifting organization! Take a minute and watch.
